I agree with John on many points. Through his article, I was a bit uncertain, but in his conclusion, I whole-heartedly agree with he suggested actions. I think that there should be a basic free service (5 MB web publishing space & free email) but charging a modest fee of $100 a year for 100MB of space isn't that bad. I'd be much happier at $50. Honestly, I used to publish a log of iPhotos on mac.com, but I ran out of space. Instead I started posting them to my own web site through the export – but the mac.com site was much easier. Will I sign up? I'll probably do the introductory $50 option, but I can't yet justify $100 for myself – then again, if I didn't already have a server, I'd say it's a decent deal. – andy
