Texas is “Getting It”
This week I was able to renew my vehicle registration online as well as
buy a fishing license (for immediate use) over the phone. Now, I'm
sure that other states are already doing this, but it is so refreshing
to live in a state that is doing it.
The new web site www.texasonline.com is truly an amazing thing for a citizen of
the great state of Texas.
License purchase by phone is available Monday through Friday (9:00
AM ö 8:00 PM) and Saturday
(9:00 AM ö 12:00 noon) for an administrative fee of $5, by calling
(800) TX LIC 4 U (1-800-895-4248),
menu 1, with approved VISA, Discover, or MasterCard.
