My grandfather passed away on Tuesday, May 3rd. He was 92. Today we fly to Indiana for the services where he will be laid to rest with my grandmother, who passed away nearly 20 years ago. Southwest Airlines transported him back to Indiana. My dad, sister, nephew, uncle, and aunt were fortunate enough to be on the same flight with my grandfather. Before the captain began the flight, he made a special announcement to all the passengers about my grandfather – thanking him for his service to our country in WWII and thanking him for the honor of transporting him home to his final resting place. Thank you Southwest.
